At Toshiba’s press conference held in Bangkok on March 5, 2025, naturenix Inc., a battery-tech startup from Shimane University (Tokyo HQ; CEO Yasuki Kanazawa), presented its proprietary battery packs and 3minGo!™ ultra-fast charging technology for two-wheelers.

The technology, built on Toshiba’s SCiB™ lithium-ion cells, enables motorcycles to be charged in as little as three minutes while ensuring long cycle life even in hot climates like Bangkok. naturenix COO Yuta Akakuma joined Toshiba executives on stage, explaining both the technical features and the progress of joint demonstration projects under way in Thailand.

This collaboration highlights how Toshiba and naturenix are combining cell innovation with system-level design to advance electrification of small mobility, one of the largest untapped markets for EV adoption.
