naturenix and Tatsuno (Thailand)
Sign MOU for Commercialization of 3-Minute Charging Infrastructure and Co-Development of Chargers for Small Mobility

— Accelerating Electrification with “Refueling-Like Convenience,” Targeting 1,000 Locations by 2030 —

Image As the world pursues decarbonization, electrification of mobility and deployment of supporting charging infrastructure have become global imperatives. While EV infrastructure for automobiles is progressing, solutions for two- and three-wheelers lag behind. In Southeast Asia and India, where small mobility dominates, electrification with user convenience equivalent to refueling is essential.

naturenix Inc. (Sumida-ku, Tokyo; CEO Yasuki Kanazawa) is a startup developing high-performance, long-life battery platforms, including the proprietary 3minGo!™ technology enabling ultra-fast charging in just three minutes. The company has actively conducted pilot projects across Southeast Asia, focusing on next-generation charging services for urban motorcycles.

Tatsuno Thailand Co., Ltd. (Pathum Thani; President Koji Okahira) is a core subsidiary of the Tatsuno Group, a leading manufacturer of fuel supply infrastructure. With a strong market share in fuel dispensers and growing achievements in EV chargers installed in Bangkok, Tatsuno Thailand brings deep expertise in outdoor infrastructure equipment, safety design, and mass production.

On July 3, 2025, the two companies signed an MOU to combine naturenix’s charging and battery technologies with Tatsuno Thailand’s infrastructure know-how, aiming to build a commercially viable 3-minute charging infrastructure for small mobility.

MOU Details

1. Feasibility Study for Commercialization in Southeast Asia
Conducting business feasibility assessments for next-generation charging infrastructure across Bangkok metropolitan areas.

2. Joint Development of Next-Generation 3-Minute Chargers
Integrating naturenix’s ultra-fast charging technologies with Tatsuno’s safety and quality design expertise to deliver scalable, practical chargers.

Technical Highlights

AmpDrive
Battery-integrated system delivering high current bursts from ordinary single-phase outlets, enabling ultra-fast charging.

Multi-Contact Connector
Suppresses heat generation during low-voltage, high-current connections, enhancing safety.

Cooling Technology
Actively cools heat sources according to battery conditions, ensuring safe and stable rapid charging. Combined with Tatsuno Thailand’s proven outdoor equipment design and mass-production know-how, these technologies will enable high-performance, reliable infrastructure.

Future Development

Under the MOU, both companies plan to complete prototype development in 2025 and install chargers at five sites in Bangkok. Pilot operation (Phase 1) will begin in early 2026, followed by Phase 2 full rollout in April 2026. By 2027, Tatsuno Thailand will start mass production, with naturenix targeting deployment to 1,000 sites in Bangkok by 2030. The model, which achieves ultra-fast charging without requiring three-phase power, is designed for cost-efficient scalability across Southeast Asia and beyond, leveraging Tatsuno’s global sales and service network.
