about us
The World We Aim to Create
We envision a future where everyone can access electricity naturally.
We are redefining the future of energy infrastructure. To achieve this, we develop and deliver long-lasting batteries that withstand even the harshest environments.
Our goal is to bring the benefits of electrification to those who need it most.
For this purpose, we continue to take on new challenges.
The Reality of Slow Electrification
Electrification is key to efficiently using energy, combating climate change, protecting the planet, and enriching people's lives.
However, in hotter regions, lithium-ion batteries in EVs degrade rapidly without effective cooling systems. Especially for two- and three-wheelers, which lack cooling mechanisms due to space and cost limitations, batteries may deteriorate within a year in equatorial regions like Southeast Asia, even if this is not the case in major manufacturing countries like China.
Seeing this situation firsthand, we strongly feel that "the people who should truly benefit from electrification are not receiving the batteries they need." In Southeast Asia and Africa, access to electricity could dramatically improve lives, yet technological barriers are depriving people of this opportunity.
Solution
This is why naturenix has developed a durable, heat-resistant battery. These batteries offer greater resilience than conventional options, performing exceptionally well in hot climates and even in extreme environments down to -30°C.
While their lifespan in high-temperature environments is over ten times longer, their cost is also several times higher, which does not easily encourage widespread electrification.
By offering this technology through a subscription model, we provide accessible battery solutions to end-users, equipment manufacturers, and BaaS/MaaS operators alike.
Rather than prioritizing our own profit, we’re committed to addressing the immediate challenge of CO₂ emissions by providing battery systems, accelerating sustainable electrification in the process.
Additionally, naturenix batteries maintain their longevity in high temperatures with minimal degradation, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
This minimizes inevitable CO₂ emissions and environmental impact from production, supporting a sustainable solution.
Updating the Industry Structure
Traditional manufacturing, including the battery industry, has relied on a cycle of mass production and consumption—producing items cheaply and in bulk for short-term use and disposal. This model is neither economically nor environmentally sustainable.
We aim to fundamentally change this structure.
naturenix offers batteries not only to end-users but also to various equipment manufacturers and OEMs through subscription and rental models. This approach allows them to provide battery subscription services to end-users without initial battery investment.
For example, over half the cost of an electric bike typically comes from the battery. With our model, bike manufacturers can sell vehicles at a reduced price and generate ongoing revenue through battery subscriptions.
We believe the era of disposable products is ending, and long-lasting batteries that continually generate value will become the energy infrastructure of the future.
Positioning Batteries at the Heart of Energy Infrastructure
We don’t see batteries as merely a component for power supply.
As battery lifespans increase and advancements in communication and edge data processing continue, the role of batteries is dramatically evolving.
naturenix’s vision is to create an energy infrastructure where batteries take center stage. By sharing battery data industry-wide—not restricted to OEMs—we aim to foster open innovation, accelerating the technological evolution of battery packs, which integrate chemistry, electrical, and electronic technologies.
Additionally, our batteries are continuously monitored to accurately track degradation, comparing performance with other batteries. This enables us to precisely assess the value of used EVs and batteries, supporting secondary and tertiary market distribution. In doing so, we extend battery life cycles and make a significant contribution to CO₂ reduction.
